Welcome to your Climate Café

Feeling anxious, angry, or grieving about climate change? Live in or near Raleigh, North Carolina? Join us for an in-person "Climate Café" Community Listening Circle.

 

What’s a climate café?

  • It’s an intentional space to gather with others who share concerns around climate change, the environmental crisis, and related sociopolitical issues.

  • It’s a supportive space to slow down and let yourself feel whatever is evoked in you.

  • It’s a confidential sharing space, where you can express your feelings if you feel moved to.

  • It’s a deep listening space where you may experience shared vulnerability and meaing.

 

Who can attend?

 

Open to anyone 18+. You don't need to be understand climate science or be an environmental activist to attend.

 

Where & when will we meet?

 

We will meet in the Music Room in the Sanctuary Building at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Raleigh, located at 3313 Wade Avenue. From 7 - 8 pm. Use the Wade Avenue entrance. Please be on time!

Is this location accessible? 

​

Yes. The UU Raleigh is wheelchair accessible, with parking spots in the upper and lower lots, an elevator in the main building, and accessible bathrooms on all levels.

 

What's the cost?

 

No cost to attend. No reservations required.
